Our Story

The story of SHIDÉ, told by its founder - Mirela Shidé Rova:

"Our Linen Shirt Dress from the Brise de Lin collection was first created for myself in Naturel de Lin. That single garment laid the foundation for SHIDÉ and evolved into our signature piece - the silhouette most closely associated with the brand and the SHIDÉ classic that continues to define it today.

Several years ago, I was looking for something I couldn’t find anywhere else - a garment that felt effortless, comfortable and feminine at the same time. Something that could adapt to different body shapes, move naturally with the body and still feel elegant.

I bought a few meters of linen and worked with a local seamstress to create it. We adjusted proportions, tested different details and refined the pattern until every element had a purpose: sleeves that allow the fabric to breathe, adjustable ties that shape the waist and length, and a silhouette that feels both relaxed and flattering.

Soon, friends and even strangers began asking where they could find them. Then came requests for custom pieces. What started as a personal project slowly grew through word of mouth, one garment at a time.

As demand increased, so did our commitment to quality. After extensive research, we chose a premium 210 g linen woven in Italy and stocked locally in Bulgaria, allowing us to maintain both craftsmanship and responsiveness with every order.

Today, what began as a single shirt has grown into a workshop producing collections made from thousands of meters of linen each season. Yet the philosophy remains unchanged: to create thoughtful pieces that people genuinely love to wear.

SHIDÉ started with a need. It continues because that need turned out to be shared by many others.

I have always believed that elegance isn’t loud. It’s found in the calm confidence of a silhouette, in the honesty of pure fabric, and in the way a garment moves with you.
SHIDÉ is my expression of that belief - a place where refinement meets simplicity, where craftsmanship becomes emotion,
and where every piece is created to be felt before it is seen.
I don’t design for the woman who wants attention. I design for the woman who naturally draws it - the woman who understands the power of subtlety, the depth of quiet strength, and the beauty of being unapologetically herself."

SHIDÉ is not just a brand.
It is a way of returning to your own essence - soft, intentional, and unmistakably YOU.

With love,

Mia
